Volgens de meeste deskundigen zijn de pups vanaf de 58e dag levensvatbaar. De bewegingen van de pups kan men nu voelen, en ook ziet men de buik "bobbelen" als de a.s. moeder op haar zij op de grond ligt. Dat is nu het lievelingplekje van vele zwangere teefjes. De werpkist staat klaar, en af en toe neemt ze poolshoogte...

According to experts the puppies are viable from the 58th day of the pregnancy. You can now feel and even see the movements the pups make in the mothers belly. The whelpbox is ready, and every now and than she hops on in to check it out....
Inmiddels zit week 8 er dus bijna op en gaan we week 9 in. De laastste week, nu wordt het spannend. Pink weegt inmiddels maar liefst 10 kilo! En haar buikomtrek is al 61 cm. Ze is wel blij dat het inmiddels wat minder warm is, dat maakt het voor haar wel iets makkelijker. Ze houdt zich het meest van dag lekker rustig maar voor haar balletje wil ze wel even in actie komen. Volgens mij worden de pups al net zulke activelingen gezien het feit dat je ze regematig voelt trappen in haar buik. Hieronder een clip van Pink in de tuin met haar favoriete balletje.
Week 8 is almost over and we are going into week 9 of the pregnancy. The last week! Pink now weighs 22 lbs! And her belly measures 24 inches. She is glad the temperature has dropped down a put, this makes life a lot easier for her. She is resting most of the day, but there is always time to play with her ball and have a little action. I think her pups will be just as active is she is, cause you put you hand on her belly you can feel the little ones kicking. Here is a clip of Pink playing in the yard with her favorite ball.
