Max and his puppy look-a-like son
Hier is Max met zijn nest broer en zus in het mandje. Hij is de middelste en lijkt wat betreft tekening echt op deze pup.
Here is Max and his littermates in a doggy bed. He is the one in the middle. The coloring on his face is just the same as this pup. 
Pups worden doof en blind geboren, in de eerste twee weken na de geboorte worden deze twee zintuigen verder ontwikkeld. Na ongeveer twee weken kunnen ze horen en gaan de oogjes open. Voelen en ruiken kunnen ze al direct, en ze kunnen dan ook goed de weg vinden in het nest naar hun moeder. En ze leren de geuren herkennen van hun boertjes en zusjes.
The pups are born deaf and blind. In the first two weeks after the birth these senses will continue to develop. When they are about two weeks old, they are able to hear and the eyes will open. When they are born they are able to smell and feel. They will find their way to their mother very easily and they will learn to recognize the smell of their brothers and sisters.
